8.5-foot spun nylon lead rope with a solid brass bull snap, hand-assembled in New Mexico. That's it — no filler, no hardware bag, just the rope.
5/8" — the standard diameter for horse lead ropes. Comfortable in your hand, easy to hold with gloves on, and stiff enough to coil cleanly.
Solid brass. It won't rust, flake, or chip after a season in the elements. Most cheap lead ropes use zinc-plated hardware — this isn't that.
Spun nylon is UV-resistant, weather-resistant, and doesn't absorb water the way cotton does. With normal use you're looking at 10+ years. Machine washable helps too.

Machine wash cold, hang dry. Nylon is mildew-resistant so you don't need to rush it — just don't put it in the dryer. It'll come out looking fine.
